You might have stepped into your teens and passed much of your time as teen age. You might have gone to the school and have also seen some of the college life. So you might have distracted from the real purpose of life. You are not born to get lost in this false glamour of the world. You are here to lead; to establish peace and justice on earth on behalf of Allah.

It was sad to hear the news of the demise of one of the best presidents of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalaam, a man who believed in struggle with simplicity. He worked hard and smart in his life. By his early childhood, his family had become poor. At an early age, he sold newspapers to supplement his family's income. He has seen poverty very closely.

Nowadays, we see almost all youngsters, including da’ees (obviously females included), are involved in listening music in one or the other way. Music has penetrated in our lives so drastically and we are now in dilemma to recognize whether it is really haram. We are not sure to consider a sin as a sin. The destruction of Muslims start when they no longer consider sins to be sins (and ask what’s wrong in it).

We Muslims are fortunate enough to have Islam as our guide. The commandment which Islam gives in any field is full of wisdom. Time is very essential element in our life. If you are a Leader your time is very much valuable. One of the characteristics of a good leader is that he has much value of time. Leader always carries others time along with him, he should be very careful in utilizing it. He should be always calculative when performing duties.

I was listening to a Friday sermon in a Mosque in Hyderabad on July 06, 2012. Due to hectic schedule, I could not complete the article on time. The beautiful sermon on Ikhlaas included a hadeeth of the Prophet (peace be upon him) where he (peace be upon him) narrated an incident of three people who took shelter in a cave. You might have heard this hadeeth many times but did you ever ponder on it?

He is the one who supported your Mother, took care of her during her pregnancies, and after you were born, he was the one who united hands with your mother for your upbringing. He is alone whom your mother trusted and your mother handed you to. He is the one who used to bunk his offices, business and what not... just to be with you, to take care of you, to nourish you...

In this age of 21st century, on the face of it, parents are allowing the birth of a girl child but when she slowly matures, the same parents consider her to be a burden. Taunting her in one or the other way hoping that she would take care of each and every house hold activity. Birth of a girl child becomes equationally proportional to taking care of the household (no matter what are her feelings and educational aims).

Education is one of the most important parts of our life. Every parent wishes to admit their child in a better school of their city. The choice of the school is very much important for the child to flourish. But one should decide which school is better. According to me, we should see the faculty members of the school not just the name and infrastructure. Infrastructure and other things also matter but they are secondary.

Parents, teachers and students are the main framework of education. They are interdependent on each other and have some rights and duties towards each other. In this era of modernization, we come towards the vicious circle of Education. I had learnt in Economics “Vicious circle of Poverty” in my college days (When I was in Gogte College of Commerce, Belgaum), the outcome of that circle which I learnt is “We are poor because we are poor”!

We always panic hearing the word “Time Table”. Time table is an organized and systemic way of doing our scheduled work. It briefs you the approximate amount of work you can do within the limited time you have. It is said “Failing to plan is planning to fail” so making time table for daily routine can change your life completely. It helps you utilize your time effectively and you are able to do more productive work in the limited time available.

Rape – an heinous crime – which is increasing day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute and second by second. Thinkers are thinking to reduce the crime; Philosophers making another philosophy out of it yet the rate of the crime is increasing by increasing rate.

For any crime to get reduced or stop we ought to go to the root cause. Know the reasons why it is happening. Be honest in accepting the reasons and endeavor to solve the problem logically.

The term “Sunnah” refers to the way or tradition of the Prophet. When we say ‘Sunnah’ - in Islamic terminology - it is understood that we are talking about the way of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). On the contrary a “profession” is a vocation founded upon specialized educational training. Here, I am referring to the profession of worldly affairs.

It is the main reason which spoils the mind set of our youth. Almost every home has internet connection and privacy too and the friend circle and discussion gives an added advantage for our youth to stride towards this industry but beware… this is not the only reason why youths are addicted to this industry.

Many of us try “hard” to wake-up in the morning. But their “sweet sleep” didn’t allow them to leave the bed early. There are various reasons why people could not get up early in the morning. But the main and most important reason is: we do not follow the Sunnah of the Prophet. We have not realized the importance of Islam in our life.

Writing an article is not a tough job if you have that passion. It is a way of expressing thoughts in a written form. Professional writing requires some techniques which make writing easier. Remember, writing is for the readers. It must be as simple as possible. It should be presented in the simplest form so that everyone can be benefited from the article. Mark Twain rightly said, “If the writer doesn't sweat, the reader will”.

Islam is the complete way of life which shows the humankind to lead a life. It is a complete guide which helps in each and every aspect, and commands its believers to follow the commandment given by the Creator for their own betterment.
